Author’s note
First commissioned work following the good career of « 23 rue des Martyrs ». Merlin has a boucle meaning in french. Of course the first one is the wizard featured in the Arthurian legend. The second is the hammer used
for killing beefs. The film is conceived as a trip in the charmed forest of Broceliande. It can also be seen as at the singer mental landscape. The film was completed in 6 weeks.
